Mac Fafi Review!

Talk about cute packaging, isn't this adorable? I think it is. It's graffiti artwork done by Fafi. If you are wondering who Fafi is, she is a graffiti artist from France. You can read her biography at Fafi.net.

I am going to be reviewing 2 lipsticks, Utterly Frivolous, Fun'N'Sexy as well as a lipglass, Squeeze It.
In this collection you will see lots of pinks and bright fun girly colors.


Fun'N'Sexy is the perfect name for this lippie. Just let me warn you though, at first glance, this bright fuchsia color, might scare you off. You might get a flashback of the 80's like I did when I first saw it. But I can assure you, what you see is not what you get. Mac describes this shade as a blue pink with blue pearl(glaze). You can actually see these tiny blue glitter sparkles throughout. I was somewhat apprehensive to put this bright neon pink on my lips but I gave it a go anyhow. To my surprise, the color showed up rather light. Not bright like I thought it would be. It's not a lipstick shade I am accustomed to wearing so I think I will pass this over to my teenaged daughter to wear. One thing that I was surprised to see and not impressed with, was the fact that they added stickers onto the tubes. Not something I was expecting to find at all. By the way I just checked maccosmetics.com and it looks like this one is sold out.

Utterly Frivolous


“Utterly Frivolous” by MAC Fafi can only be described as a fun, colorful lipstick that virtually anyone can wear. The color can certainly be for cool or warm tones, since MAC describes the color as “a rosy coral with pink pearl.” Perhaps what first drew my attention to this lipstick was the cute packaging; to me, this Fafi girl’s style and sleek design is definitely appealing to the eye! Inside this stylish box is a lipstick you definitely won’t be disappointed in. Its smooth texture and appealing shade would certainly pull in anyone’s attention.

Squeeze It


Squeeze it is described as a "Brassy plum"(frost). It's a little dark and not something I would normally wear but I have to say this really is a beautiful color. The swatch shown on mac's site does not do it any justice whatsoever. This is one color you have to see in person. It does have a bit of glitter in it but the amount is so small you hardly notice it. I love this shade and for some reason it's the only one in the fafi collection that is not sold out on mac's site!
