Mac Future Earth: Volcanic Ash Exfoliator Review

OUT OF ONE WORLD. INTO THE NEXT. VOLCANIC THERMAL CLEANSING.
Volcanic Ash Exfoliator

I love the idea that Mac has incorporated natural volcanic ash into their exfoliator. Volcanic ash, which contains sulphur is a proven safe, age-old remedy, that has been known to treat numerous skin conditions such as acne and excema. It also slows down the aging process.

When you first glance into the jar, you might be in for a bit of a shock like I was. This black tar-like looking substance intrigued me, yet I was a little hesitant to put this on my face. So I gathered up my courage, took a deep breath and submerged my fingers into the jar of black muck. With my face already wet and a small amount on my fingers, I began to massage it lightly in a circular motion. It foamed up quickly when it came in contact with the water. The sugar crystals did not feel harsh on my skin, and I noticed they dissolved quite fast. After rinsing it off, I was amazed at how soft and smooth my skin felt. I'm serious folks, my skin had a clean, natural looking radiance to it. There wasn't the slightest bit of dryness either. This scrub will cleanse and exfoliate your skin like nothing else you've ever used before.
I have to say that the scent was very different though. It had an ashy smell with just a hint of fragrance. Very different but that wouldn't stop me from using this scrub again.

It's not just to use on your face but for the whole body. It can be used up to three times a week but if you have sensitive skin I would limit your use to one time. It's just a matter of preference.

This product is definitely worth buying, plus $19 is a great value for a jar of this size. (4.5oz) It will last you a long long time.
