Concealer to me is one of the most important items in a woman's beauty arsenal. Without it, your makeup look will not be complete until those discolorations and skin imperfections are covered up.
I usually don't have much luck when it comes to finding a concealer that will cover up a multitude of sins (imperfections) but I finally hit the jackpot with this one.
It's called RedPoint NOC-Out Cover-Up Compact.
This sleek red compact contains 3 different formulas for 3 specific problems that just about every woman has experienced at some point in her life.
- Red Guard (yellow) - helps neutralize the appearance of facial redness
- Spot Cover (salmon) - works to obliterate the look of age spots, large freckles and visible veins.
- Eye Disguise (beige) - conceals dark circles and minimizes the appearance of crow's feet.
This is a cream concealer and is usually recommended for dry skin, but I find that it works great on my oily skin. It's more than just a cover-up cream, it's also a unique combination of Vitamin C, A and E, licorice root and mushroom extract that all work to clarify and tone skin. So it heals as it conceals.
I have a small patch of hyperpigmentation on one side of my face and this concealer does a fantastic job of hiding it. You can either use your fingers or a brush to apply it. What I did, after applying my foundation, I used a concealer brush to swipe the salmon colored shade and applied it to my problem area. I then took my ring finger and gently patted it to blend it in.
By far this is the best concealer I have used. I love the creamy texture and coverage. It's great for covering up my undereye circles and it doesn't look cakey or settle into my fine lines either. You'll not only love the sexy sleek red packaging but also the highly specialized ingredients.
This is definitely a keeper.
