Secret To Glowing Skin: Rejuvenating Bronzing Silk Review

After using and falling in love with Redpoint's Noc-Out Cover-Up Compact, I knew that the Rejuvenating Bronzing Silk would not disappoint me. And I was so right!

This bronzer comes in a sleek red, lightweight "oh so chic" compact and includes a kabuki brush. I love the packaging and boy am I a sucker for cute packaging.

I like to use bronzers mainly during the winter months as I am usually quite tanned the rest of the year. But sometimes I will use a bronzer as a blush color or just to enhance my already medium tanned skin.

When I first opened the compact and saw the color, I honestly thought it looked way too dark for me and didn't think that it was going to work. But with a simple sweep of my brush across the pigmented powder, I applied it to my cheeks and was taken aback at how it created a warm sun-kissed glow to my skin. It was soft and natural, not muddy looking like I thought it would appear. The color is definitely buildable and gives a nice matte finish without leaving any streaks. This is one of the most silkiest bronzers I have ever used. It's a universally wearable bronze that is oil and talc free. Just use sparingly, because a little goes a long way. You don't have to press your brush down hard on the powder either because it is so soft.

The kabuki brush I received with this bronzer was not the same one as pictured on their site. The one I received resembled a long tube of lipstick. I personally did not like this brush as the brush hairs were too long and were not thick enough. Plus the bristles had a funky odor that was not exactly gratifying. Other than that I would highly recommend this bronzer, it's worth the money!

SR Price: $38 and comes with a kabuki brush.
