Pink Power Eye Palette in CELEBRATE
These multifunctional shades come in a cute sleek pink compact that make a perfect purse companion.
We are loving these three shimmery shades in this eye palette. The lightest shade is a soft sheer pink that is perfect to use as a highlighter on the brow bone. The medium color can be described as a shimmery sheer warm pink that we brushed on from our lashline to our lids. The darkest shade, which is embossed with the breast cancer ribbon, is a tinted dark brown with a hint of gold shimmer, that is perfect for creating a soft smokey eye look.
We love the silky smooth texture of these shadows and how easy they were to blend. These shadows are undeniably gorgeous and can be worn by anyone regardless of skintone. Perfect color combos that go well with everything.
Pink Power Lip Palette in INSPIRE
Smashbox's Pink Power Lip Palette INSPIRE consists of three different lip gloss shades equipped with a dual-ended retractable brush. These three shades I have labeled as Light, Medium and Dark in the photo below. Beginning with the Light shade, this is a cool, bright pink, the Medium shade is more pigmented, yet it is still a sheer and subtle rose, and the Dark is a shade that appears to be a rose with some brownish attributes.
The last shade (Dark) actually applies a bit lighter than advertised, but that’s expected with most lipglosses. All of these shades are slightly pigmented, but do apply sheer for the most part. So you may apply them to nude lips to complete a soft appearance, or even apply them as a topcoat over lipstick to give a glossy/slightly altered appearance. You can mix and match the shades to create your own unique hue.
As far as the brush within this small pink compact goes, it’s efficient enough, and so far I haven’t had any trouble with loose bristles adhering to my lips. (And obviously, if you prefer to use your own brush or apply using your own fingers, then that works too.)
In conclusion, Smashbox has made a great lip palette with gorgeous, quality glosses.
What they cost: $46 each($62 value)and will go on sale in mid September.
Where to find them: Smashbox.com, Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, select Bloomingdale's.
