Review: MAC Adoring Carmine Brush Bag

Naturally nothing less than perfection! But suddenly flaws are about face when the right brush is wrongfully out of reach. Adoring Carmine Brush Bags divide and conquer with superbly stylish efficiency.
Adoring Carmine: 5 Basic Brushes Royal red-on-red satin with the chic and sheen of sexy red-orange patent trim. Professional Brushes 129SE, 219SE, 239SE, 266SE, 316SE

The holiday brush set I've been using from this collection is the 5 Basic one. I love the elegant red satin round brush bag that comes with this set and how it matches the brushes. It's perfect for keeping your brushes stowed away.

The 129SE blush brush was in my opinion too big to use as a blush brush. I ended up using it to apply my powder highlighter and it worked perfectly. The only real negative about this brush is that it sheds. Not every time, just once in a while. Overall it's a great brush.

219SE Pencil brush: this is by far the best eye brush I have ever used and is my favorite in this set. It works great for doing the outer v and the crease area. It's a definite must have for creating a perfect smoky eye look to. Having the right tools can make all the difference in your makeup application. And this is one brush that should be in every makeup divas bag.

239SE Eye Shading Brush: This is a great multipurpose brush. I use it as a basic eye shadow brush for my lids. I like how it picks up a good amount of product. Perfect for picking up MAC pigment powder. This is another fav brush of mine.

266SE Small Angle Brush: Perfect for lining your eyes with gel liner. The bristles feel somewhat scratchy on the lids so if you have sensitive eyes you might not like this one. I do have to admit though I like to use this brush to comb my brows. The bristles are firm enough to do a great job.

316SE Lip Brush: This versatile tool can be used as a lip brush and as an eye liner brush. I used it to apply my eye liner and thought it did a pretty decent job. But I much prefer it as a lip brush. It picks up a good amount of lip product and distributes it evenly. For some reason my lipstick seems to apply a lot more evenly when I use this brush. My other high end lip brushes don't do as good a job as this one does. This is a definite must buy.

I cannot compare these to the full sized brushes, as I do not own any. I know . . . how sad huh? But now since I have tried this set out you can be sure I will be investing in the full-sized ones sooner than later.
