Review: Avon Celestial Eye Shadow & Big Glossy Lip Pencil

Avon's Celestial Eye Shadow in Moon Sand can be described as a sandy beige pearlized shade with a hint of frost. It's great to use as a wash all over the eyes or just as a highlighter on the brow.




There is not a lot of pigmentation in this eye shadow when used dry. I had to swipe it several times in order for it show up on my lids. It can be used for a wet or dry application. I found it easy to blend and the texture is incredibly soft. Overall I thought it was an okay eye shadow.
Jillian’s Tip: “Since the formula is baked, I love to apply it wet for super-saturated color. Use a wet brush to sweep color in the crease and make eyes pop. Add a touch of highlighter to the inner corners for a wide-eyed look.”







Big Glossy Lip Pencil in Glossy Rose is a peachy rose shade that is a lipcolor and liner in one. I was totally shocked at the amount of shine it produced. It goes on sheer and the coverage is buildable. It also lasts a long time to. I can't get over how creamy and light it feels on the lips. You can see in my photo below that it actually looks like a gloss.
What I also like about this pencil is that I did not have to resharpen it after using it several times.
This is definitely one lip pencil you really have to try out.
