I recently had a chance to sample the new Giorgio Armani Lasting Silk UV Foundation, and I am loving it!
This foundation is lightweight with moderate to full coverage and has a sunscreen of SPF20. It has a semi-matte finish and feels very silky on the skin. Best of all it has been formulated specifically for use in High Definition Television and Photography work and the sunscreen has been micronised in such a way that it will not reflect back in flash photography.
This foundation did a pretty decent job of covering up my imperfections and evening out my skintone. Coverage is good and it doesn't look cakey. It gives me a flawless yet natural finish. The colors match up to the existing Luminous Silk and Matte Silk Foundations.
Hands down, this is now my new favorite foundation! Pricey it is but I don't mind paying more for a product that delivers.

I like it as well, however it maybe too matte for the weather we have been having down in Northern Cali.
I also thought the colors ran lighter than LSF. I'm a #4 in LSF, and my best match in this is #5.
Hi SW, I am surprised that your shades ran lighter. I use #9 in LSF and I found that the #9 in Lasting Silk was a bit darker. But I don't mind because in the summer I usually tan and therefore need a darker shade. Living in Florida, we have a lot of humidity, and since I have oily skin maybe that is why I did not find it to be too matte for me. I'm glad you liked it though. Which one do you prefer, the Luminous Silk or the Lasting Silk? :)
Lasting silk I think is better for me, since it has better coverage. My skin isn't as perfect as it once was, and this seems to really give a polished look. I am also using my new GA Designer brush.
I wonder if this is going to be a LE, because they do not offer a lot levels in this foundie yet.
I agree with you, Lasting Silk does seem to give me better coverage to. I do love both of them though. I'm going to ask my SA from Giorgio Armani Cosmetics if these are going to be LE. I'm surprised they don't have more shades available in this. Hopefully they will add more.
I've been looking for an HD foundation, so I guess I'll be adding this one to the list too. Thanks for the recommendation.
between LFS and this one, which one is better in coverage and lasting power ? I have combination skin, which one suits me better ?
thanks =)
