A few weeks ago I was introduced to a new mineral makeup line, Obsessed Minerals. They recently launched a new line of high intensity pigmented pressed mineral eye shadows and I was fortunate enough to sample one of them. Pictured to the left is the one I tried, Intergalactic. This is an amazing plum shade that has a mixture of copper, rose and plum with iridescence. If you like high pigmented eye shadows, then you will love these!




These shadows glide on silky smooth and have great lasting power. The pigment is so intense that I did not need to use an eye shadow primer and the color lasted all day. It blended effortlessly and felt good on my lids. You can apply the shadows wet or dry for varying effects. When used wet, it deepens and brightens the hues as well as increases the shimmer. A little goes a long way with these eye shadows.

Shimmering H Cosmetics was founded by Dr. Michael Huwe, a Pennsylvania Chiropractor and mother of three. “The idea for a mineral cosmetics company came after the inability to acquire the types of colors I wanted in the highest quality mineral form.
