If you haven't grabbed yourself one of the new Prescriptives Exhilarating Lipglosses yet, you should! Why? Because they are simply the most juiciest, fruitiest, high shine glosses to wear this summer! They are available in three shades, Guava, Pink Grapefruit and Mango. I have it in Guava and love how the gloss just glides on my lips with a burst of guava flavor.
Guava goes on sheer with just a subtle hint of a golden green color. I did notice some shimmer in it as well. It's a universal shade, so it suits all skin tones. The packaging is uber cute and decorated in signature Calyx graffiti. They are limited edition so you may want to hurry and snatch them up. I ordered the Mango, a sheer orange shimmer which I happen to love and now I am thinking maybe I better grab the Pink Grapefruit as well. A girl can never have too many lip glosses, right?
I also tried the lip color in Raspberry, a shimmery Golden Lilac. On my pigmented lips, it looks more like a pink color than it does lilac. I think it would suit most skin tones. It's gorgeous and I love the lightweight formula. It has a sheer to medium coverage with a soft gloss finish. It really does give your lips a nice pop of color. I also love the tropical green packaging these lipsticks come in. I'm a sucker for cute packaging.
Just like the lip glosses, these are limited edition as well. And of course I found myself drooling over the other lippies and ordered Nectarine and Papaya. These two shades are definitely suited for warmer skin tones. You can't go by the color swatches on Prescriptives website, they really don't look the same as in real life. The picture shown above of the lipstick, that is the actual color of Nectarine. It's really gorgeous on, especially with the Mango gloss applied on top. I have to say that the Exhilarating Collection is one of my favorites by Prescriptives. The soft, playful and energizing color tones are perfect to wear this summer.
