Honey that is! As ancient and exotic as Kohl, great beauties have long revered the natural restorative powers of the Golden Elixir.
Not long ago I told you about the new collections from MAC, Naked Honey and Style Warrior. I was so excited to try out so many new things from both. Last week I received the lipglass in Buzz, eye shadow in Creme De Miel and the Naked Honey Skin Salve all from the Naked Honey Collection.
MAC Buzz lipglass is described as a dark copper brown with multi-dimensional pearl. I love this lip gloss and am really happy with the color and consistency of it. It's a perfect copper bronze shade that compliments my skintone.
Creme De Miel
Creme De Miel is a frosty light yellow gold that looks very similar to another MAC shadow I have called Ricepaper. I like to pair Ricepaper with MAC Mulch and decided to try the Creme De Miel with it and both looked great together!I get dry hands a lot from over washing them and decided to give this salve a try to see if it could help heal the dryness. This is a clear honey-scented salve that when applied to the hands, it leaves a somewhat greasy feel behind. It didn't absorb that well into my skin but it did a great job of moisturizing my hands. I don't think I will use it again on my hands as I just don't care for the greasy feel. However, I think it would be best to use this on your elbows or the heels of your feet rather than on your hands.
MAC Naked Honey Collection will be available starting June 11th 2009.

Like you've mentioned, the lipglass and the eye shadow from this collection seem so similar to the other hues that MAC already has. But I'm so into the Naked Honey Skin Salve, as I am all about the multi-purpose products. In the summer, the season to bare, I would hate to be caught with cracked elbows or heels!
Ha ha I'm with you there. Nothing uglier than cracked heels and elbows. Ewww! lol
