MAC Mineralize Eye Shadow in Eccentricity

Eccentricity’s shades consist of a warm medium gold, a warm brownish bronze, a cool shimmery violet, and a deep purplish plum. These shades can be used in tandem, but I chose only a few shadows to apply as well as mix-and-matched with shades from other compacts.

As I mentioned in my review of Assemblage, these shadows are not as pigmented as other MAC shadows. If you use an eye shadow primer it will make the colors more intense. You can also apply them with a damp brush. By wetting the brush prior to application, this will create a more vibrant metallic look. Not a favorite of mine but it's just a matter of preference and what type of look you want to create.

Out of this compact, I’d have to say the gold and bronze were my favorite shadows. All four shades are gorgeous and versatile. They are so silky and smooth to the touch. This quad is definitely a keeper.

The light/cool violet almost looks silvery on the skin. This looks like a very useful palette. Great find. Great review. You should post a pic of the eye look you created.

Thanks Leane! I tried to take a pic of the eye look but it didn't turn out. My photography sucks. :(
