Celebrities and Colored Contacts

Celebrities often set the fashion trends we all want to follow, from what to wear, what type of pet to own to what charity to support. They look stunning and stylish as they step out in public, sporting the trendiest clothes to the latest accessories, thanks to a troupe of fashion advisors, stylists and make up artists, and we are left wondering how we can possibly recreate their looks. However, one of the accessories found in so many celebrity make up kits is something we can all afford - colored contact lenses. These affordable accessories are something anyone can have without spending all of your money, to help achieve that glamorous celebrity look!

Colored contacts come in two tints – the enhancement tint and the color tint. Enhancement tints are used to augment your natural eye color, while the color tint is used to completely change the color of your eyes. Wearing colored contact lenses has become a must have accessory for many celebrities, who often use colored contacts to match their outfits, or change their look for a special occasion.

There are many high profile celebrities who confess to wearing colored contact lenses. Paris Hilton, heiress to the Hilton hotels and celebrity socialite, admits to wearing colored contact lenses. Her eyes are naturally brown, but she uses bright blue contacts to create the iconic image she wants to portray. Her bright blue eyes have become part of her allure and image.

Other celebrities who are often seen wearing colored contacts include Hayden Panettiere, Britney Spears, and Angelina Jolie. For people with beautiful dark colored eyes, enhancing this natural darkness is not so easy, so color tinted contact lenses are the best options. Both Hayden and Britney are naturally brown-eyed and are often seen wearing blue and green colored lenses. Hayden has confessed to being addicted to wearing her contact lenses. Angelina naturally has blue eyes and has been seen wearing enhancing colored lenses.

So if you want to follow one of the trends that are hot with celebrities right now, try colored contact lenses to match your outfit, suit your mood, or just turn heads! Colored contacts are safe to wear as long as you follow some easy safety guidelines, and you can wear them even if you don’t normally require corrective lenses. Remember though, you must still visit your local eye doctor for a prescription and advice on wearing colored lenses, but once this is done, you can step out in style!
