M·A·C Prep For Colour

The latest additions to MAC collections, MAC Art Supplies and MAC Prep For Colour are both filled with an array of vibrant products for eyes and lips exclusively for the artistic soul.

Our inspirational look was based on MAC Prep For Colour although products from both MAC Art Supplies and Prep For Colour were used.

In prepping the face, we first used MAC Prep + Prime Skin Brightening Serum from Prep For Colour, then for the moisturizer we used MAC Mineralize All-Over Lotion. After prepping, we used MAC Mineralize Foundation in NW25 followed by MAC Blush OMBRE dusted lightly on the cheeks.
On the eyes, we applied both Flip and Aztec Brick from MAC's Colour 4 Palette on the eyelid. As a highlight, we used the lightest shade from MAC Colour 4 Palette, Manilla. On the crease and outer eyelid, we applied Sorcery from Prep For Colour.
We next carefully applied to the upper and lower lash lines Below Ground Greasepaint Stick from MAC Art Supplies. For the lashes, we used Andrea Eyelash on the top lashes and Andrea Flair Short Black on the bottom lashes.
For the lips we used Pro Longwear Lipstain Marker in Runway Ripened from the MAC Art Supplies collections; to accomplish a glossy finish, we lastly applied Just Add Colour Lipglass from the Prep For Colour collection.

MAC Dazzleglass Creme in Creme Allure is a close look-a-like to the Just Add Colour lipglass.
Sorcery (a repromote) is a brown burgundy shade, with a satin finish. It's highly pigmented and it really blends well. I have to admit that when I first saw it, I thought it was way too dark and boring. But boy was I wrong. It's really a gorgeous shade of plum on my lids. It's one of my favorite MAC shadows. I've been wearing it almost everyday this week.
Just Add Colour is a pretty frosted fuchsia pink that is packed with shine. It really gives you luscious looking lips. Perfect color to wear this spring.
Prep+Prime Skin Brightening Serum

MAC states that this serum evens out any skintone and instantly brightens and smooths the complexion. I have not tried this on myself but used it on my daughter. I was quite surprised at how smooth her skin felt after applying it. Even her foundation looked flawless.

GREASEPAINT STICK

I have to say that the Greasepaint Sticks and the Pearlglide liners are unequivocally my favorites from the Art Supplies Collection. The Greasepaint Sticks are long wearing, and waterproof. They are easy to work with and the color pay-off is phenomenal! These versatile sticks can be used as a shadow or a liner.

Dirty is a blackened taupe with pearl. It's such a versatile color that it could be paired with many different shades of neutrals, browns, plums or tans.
Below Ground is a shimmery bronzey brown. Looks great on the lids.
Slick Black is a true carbon black. Perfect black for numerous eye looks.
PEARLGLIDE INTENSE EYE LINER

Industrial is a periwinkle gray.
Undercurrent is a blue teal.
Just like the Greasepaint Sticks, these liners can be used as shadows. They glide on with ease without any dragging across the fragile skin of the eye area. The texture is very similar to Urban Decay's 24/7 liners. Once applied they are smudgeproof, water and fade resistant! When the liner sets, (about 30 seconds) it doesn't shrink or feel dry on my lids like some liners do. These liners deliver vibrant color with a shimmering sparkle effect. They are limited edition so get yours while you can.

How cool is that?! Very Pretty! I can not decide if I need that lipglass. Do you know anything similar by MAC? Thanks!
Hi Krystal. I just took a look at my MAC glosses and saw that I had one that is very similar to the Just Add Colour lipglass. It's a dazzleglass creme called Creme Allure. I swatched both colors and added a pic for you above. I think it's a pretty close look-a-like.
