butter LONDON Nail and Lippy Review
L-R Trout Pout, Yummy Mummy
butter LONDON recently expanded their color with the launch of LIPPY, a range of longwearing, lacquer-like lip glosses in shades to match their famous nail lacquers. The 5 new shades - Primrose Hill Picnic, Snog, Trout Pout, Yummy Mummy and Teddy Girl.
I've had my eye on butter LONDON for a while now and was so excited to finally try them. I was sent Trout Pout and Yummy Mummy. This being my first time trying butter LONDON, I have to say I absolutely love them! The polishes come in a square bottle with a pull off cap. I have to laugh at myself because when I first got these I automatically tried turning the top like I do with my other polish bottles but after several unsuccessful attempts I finally realized that the cap actually pulled off. DOH!
Trout Pout is an opaque shade of cantaloupe, pale and retro.
Yummy Mummy is a beige nude color.
I am amazed at how true to color these are. They go on so smoothly with no streaking. I got away with using just one coat of the Trout Pout. However I needed 2-3 coats of Yummy Mummy. Both are really gorgeous colors. It didn't take long for them to dry and when they did the colors were nice and shiny. These are really the best polishes I have ever used. I will definitely be getting more of these.
No formaldehyde, No toluene, No DBP, Not animal tested.
(Glosses are $17 each)
